KAPUAS DISTRICT GET ADIPURA AWARD

Banjarmasinpost.co.id – Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at 9:38 pm written an essay entitled “Kapuas Raih Piagam Adipura”.

Top of this achievement, our entire staff of Department of Youth, Sports, Culture and Tourism Kapuas Regency express gratitude to God Almighty, and s0 congratulated on what has been achieved.

 

We also gratitude to the parties who expressed his match in various newspapers and other mass media. Hopefully, this achievement becomes the driving another achievement in the days-future, amen.

As the news above, the Regent Kapuas HM Mawardi has received the Adipura award from the Minister for the Environment Prof. Dr. Ir. Gusti Mohammad Hatta, MS on Tuesday evening June 7, 2011 in Balai Kartini Jakarta. Kuala Kapuas won clean city for the category of small town clean and green.

Kapuas district successfully achieve clean city charter in 2011 is expected also to increase the active role of society in motion so that the city of Kuala Kapuas cleanliness could be better in the years ahead.

The success of this clean city is also the success achieved by the hard work and service by the Kapuas district cleaning affair persons so as not excessive when a thank you communicated to them.

NIGHT DRESS MOTIF “KARAMUNTING” FROM KUALA KAPUAS

From the selection event of Pemilihan Putra Putri Pariwisata Kalteng (2011 Central Kalimantan Provincial Tourism Ambassador Contest) in  Palangkaraya, a view that is worthy of note is the display of evening gowns from each participant district.

In this event featuring participants daughter of Kapuas regency, name  Risma Mutia Taat, and participants on behalf of son Muhammad Rajiv Akbar. Both contestants confidently bring night clothing with motifs Karamunting.

Is it Karamunting? Simple Language Banjar mention, Karamunting is a plant that is in the tribe of Melastomataceae is a member of flowering plants. We call it could have been Melastoma malabathricum or Rhodomyrtus tomentosa,  can also Melastoma Ochthocharis specific bornensis endemic Kalimantan.

Karamunting growing wild in a place that gets enough sunlight such as on the slopes of the mountain, bush or field that is not too dry.

These plants include shrubs group, single leaf, wake ellipse extending to oval, opposite leaves sitting crossed, hairy leaf surfaces when touched feels rough, base rounded leaves, leaf edges flat, tapered leaf tip. Flowers including compound interest reddish purple, edible fruit and has a small seed.

LPI KAPUAS 2011 FINAL RESULTS

The final match of Kapuas District League of Indonesia Education (LPI) 2011 Monday afternoon, May 30, 2011 at 17:30 am ending with high school final between the teams of SMA Negeri Kapuas Barat against Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Selat of Kuala Kapuas.

In the final match at the Stadium of  “Panunjung Tarung” Kuala Kapuas that MAN Selat solidify his position as champion with a lethal blow to the Kapuas Barat SMA teams with a score convincing 4: 0.

MAN Selat teams victory brings his team represent the Kapuas district in action at the Provincial Central Kalimantan LPI in Palangka Raya, July 2011.

The end result is the LPI for Higher MAN Selat (Winner), SMA Kapuas Barat (Second Place), while the third winner was occupied jointly by teams MA Babussalam and SMA Negeri 1 Kuala Kapuas.

As for the LPI Level Junior High School, followed by 11 (eleven), the teams that came out as champion is SMP Negeri 2 Lupak after the final morning subvert SMP Negeri 1 Selat teams with a score of 2: 0. With this result puts SMP Negeri 1 Selat as Runner Up. While the third winner won jointly by teams SMP Negeri 4 Selat and SMP Negeri 2 Selat.

Sweet accomplishment achieved by the children of SMP Negeri 2 Lupak is placing them as a district representative on the action of LPI Kapuas in Central Kalimantan Province in July 2011.

The implementation of the League of Education of Indonesia (LPI) Kapuas Year 2011 as the inaugural event at the local junior football is a good cooperation among the Department of Youth, Sports, Culture and Tourism with Kapuas District Education Office, Ministry of Religious Affairs Kapuas, KONI Kapuas, PSSI Branch Kapuas and other sporting organizations.

In view of this event is the inaugural title of the parties committee openly apologized for its implementation is still viewed by many deficiencies and is very necessary increase in the future.

KAPUAS ACHIEVEMENT IN PROVINCIAL CULTURE FESTIVAL 2011 ISEN MULANG

Isen Mulang Provincial Cultural Festival of Central Kalimantan 2011 held on 19 to 24 May 2011. Official opening by the Governor of Central Kalimantan, Agustin Teras Narang, SH accompanied by Vice Governor Drs. H. Ahmad Diran on Thursday afternoon (19.05.2011) at 14.00 pm.

After the last 5 (five) days, the closing ceremony was held on Tuesday night (24/05/2011) by the Vice Governor of Central Kalimantan, Drs. H. Ahmad Diran.

 In this closing night known the end result of the Cultural Festival 2011, the District of Murung Raya as Overall Winner.

The accomplishments achieved by the Kapuas district in Isen Mulang Year Cultural Festival 2011 are:

1. Second Place for the Car Ornamental Parade. In these moment participated by all districts in Central Kalimantan are implemented in the form of cultural parade during the opening ceremony.

In this cultural parade Kapuas district car show 2 pieces of major automobile unique culture Kapuas describe a boat / car banama laluhan and supporters describe the potential of nature tourism in Kapuas district.

 

2. Kapuas District won the first winner the contest for Mangaruhi / Maloto (women) of Misna and Suryati.

3. Kapuas District also won as the First Winner  for the race  of Besei Kambe (women) by Ms. Rosida and Lilis

4. Fourth championship achieved is contingent Kapuas won the Second Winner of Besei Kambe Men Race of Fadli and Dehen.

5. Meanwhile, in the event  of Provincial Tourism King and Princess Election of Central Kalimantan, Kapuas District representative on behalf of Akbar Rajib won Second Place Predicate.

6. In the Karungut branch contest, representative Kapuas regency should be satisfied to obtain the position of Runner.

7. As for the Princess category of Tourism, representatives of the Kapuas district won the Best Talent category on behalf of  Risma Mutia Taat.
